ABOUT
Hannah Polinski is a writer and filmmaker. She currently explores sexual expression, gender, and nannyhood. In the past, her bio made reference to familial memory and the psychogeography of urban landscapes, which she still finds interesting but less so.
From poetry to film criticism, her writing has appeared in publications like the Malahat Review, Contemporary Verse 2, Frontier Poetry, and more. As a playwright and theatre director, her original works have been performed on stage in France, and most recently at the Montreal Fringe Festival (2023).
Her first film perennials premiered at the Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival (2022) and screened at multiple festivals. She is now in post-production with Sex Dream, an experimental documentary about sexual fantasies and their realities.
